Jobs may be submitted on CD, DVD, or by FTP.
FTP Instructions for Mac OSX
To Connect to Portland Color's FTP Site:
1. Under the GO menu, highlight Connect to server...
2. At the bottom of the dialogue box, in the address line, type in mail.portlandcolor.com
3. Another dialogue box will open prompting you for a name and password. The name is incoming, the password is color. Press OK after you have entered the information.
4. The next dialogue box should have the drive incoming selected. When you hit bok an icon of our FTP server will show up on your desktop. Double click this icon to view the contents.
5. Place your folder containing your files (please label your folder clearly) into the folder labeled drop box. This is the only place you will be able to leave your files. When you drop your files on the drop box, you will get a message saying You do not have permission to see the results of this operation. Do you wish to continue?. Press OK.
6. Files will now start copying to our server.
7. You can create an alias of our FTP Server on your desktop. Simply double click the alias in the future, and the prompt for name and password will come up.
