Producing high-quality wallpaper has become a focus for Portland Color. We noticed that much wallpaper being produced digitally was being made by using environmentally unsound solvent printing methods, and decided to create a better product.
Solvent printers produce wallpaper at both low cost and adequate quality; but the continued out-gassing of VOCs from the printed vinyl makes this a malodorous and unhealthy solution. Using aqueous-inkjet printing eliminates all environmental hazards, and produces wallpaper with beautiful texture, a huge color range, and photographic quality.
Unlike most printing companies, we have staff who are trained in understanding the special problems involved in file creation for wall coverings. We provide consultation and production services to help you deal with repeats, proper specifications for installation, and a variety of other wall covering specific issues.
